Case Study: St Joseph’s Boys NS

Some of the boys from St Joseph’s Boys NS, Carrickmacross had made detailed family trees that led them back to the 1912-1922 era. One discovered that his great grand uncles were in WW1 and he shared his research during Ann and Mary’s visit. The artist and writer’s visits were a great chance to let the children’s stories come through, and an opportunity to start documenting their research in different ways -through videos, writing, photos, audio recordings and drawings.
